With a focus on the best quality from the very beginning, GH Mumm has become the third largest champagne producer to date. The name Grand Cordon refers to the ribbon of honor of the French Foreign Legion, which has adorned Mumm champagne since 1876 and is called "Cordon Rouge" in French.
