In the 1950 's, Memphis, Tennessee (and the local Tri State area) was a stunning Pot Pourri of music from supercharged R&B to plaintive Hillbilly, to cotton patch Blues, to the intense emotion of Gospel and the tough sounds of Rock 'n' Roll and Rockabilly.
