The backrest is made of two strips of wood smoothed by time and use. The rounded armrests and the marks of the axe blows are a real feast for the eyes. Due to the type of nails, we initially assumed that it was a 19th century bench, but after further investigation we found that it dates back to the 17th century and was probably restored a few centuries later.
