Four Roses Single Barrel Reserve was released for the Japanese market in the early 1990s

The grants and teachers were early champions of the single malt category and Glendronach distillery bottlings were produced for most of the 20th century until mothballed in 1996 by Allied Distillers

so that each bottle can also be provided with the dates of the aging process

The nice sweetness works well and the result is really smooth while showing the typical Caol Ila potency

the distillery has been state-of-the-art like hardly any other distillery
