The mandibular advancement device is used to treat snoring and mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), which is accompanied by nocturnal breathing pauses. The oral appliance consists of a hard outer shell and a thermoplastic filling material that softens when heated in a hot water bath. The lower jaw advancement is adjusted continuously
