The skirt has been bias cut, which requires the use of extra fabric but means that it hugs the body gently when worn. Two diagonal panels run down the length of the skirt, and it has a comfortable elasticated waist. Also note the skirt's interesting shape, as it starts off straight then flares slightly at the hem.
