Vintage c.1960s cotton drill red and white pinstriped artist’s or fisherman’s smock top vintage confetti but fairly straight
Description
but fairly straight
Slightly raw edges to collar edge
although it’s pretty small so hard to spot
There is also some some later contrasting stitching which has been echoed to front bodice and waistline - this also confused me initially as it’s clearly commercially made
and the rear of the food over collar fastens neatly with hook and eyes to rear to keep it in the correct place
Vintage c.1960s cotton drill red and white pinstriped artist’s or fisherman’s smock top vintage confetti but fairly straightI have an embarrassment of fishermans smocks, so this one needs to go as I dont think Ive even worn it because Ive been too busy wearing all the ancient blue ones I have on rotation. Such a useful thing, with front apron style pockets. Boxy cut with wide funnel neckline. Label has faded so much as to be illegible, but clearly commercially made. Its a light to mid weight cotton drill. Measures: shown unclipped on U. K. 8 mannequin, it sounds bigger
