Each compartment measures approximately: 7. 5" wide x 7" tall x 3". It may be attached to a belt up to 2. 5" wide. This is the 1st variation of the P58 web equipment. This has a few different characteristics than the later version. The 1st issue has stiffened sides to the pouch lids and the 2nd issue does not. Both issues lack an upper connecting strap
