Vintage Andre Dallioux silk velvet clutch bag or purse with monogram MM antique hair comb Soft black velvetI think this is late 40s, from quality Parisian maker Andre Dallioux. An elegant velvet clutch, with monogram MM (unfortunately think a Marilyn link would be stretching it!) The base is a lozenge shaped goldtone metal, with black cold enamel detail. The upper is made from what feels like a silk velvet, envelope style. It fastens with a single snap to the centre which is marked with a patent. Interior is a silk satin, printed with makers name.
