1940s Colorblock Dress by Nelly Don swimsuit I've lifted up the strap

I've lifted up the strap to reveal the unpainted portion but otherwise it looks as it does  in the second to last photo

Waist is fitted and skirt is dirndl style closing with a side metal Kover zipper

Not very noticeable and does not detract

The heels are 1 1/4"" They are stamped a size 5 1/2A which I think is accurate

Belt backing is worn (shiny part has worn off) but is still sturdy and this is not visible when worn

1940s Colorblock Dress by Nelly Don swimsuit I've lifted up the strap1940s maroon and grey dress in a midweight fabric with slight slub, possibly a rayon linen blend, has nice drape. Bodice buttons down the front with covered buttons and has short sleeves. Skirt is a line and there is a side metal zipper. Bra securing straps are inside the shoulders along with small net sleeve headers. Nelly Don label. Very nice condition. Fabric and seams are excellent but there is some color variation to the maroon on the bodice as
