40s Peplum Dress Pink Peach Braid Embellished size 1 Weight 16 gramsDETAILS: These 40s rayon dresses are so flattering, yet perfectly ladylike. This one probably dates to the late 1940s, when the hems got a bit longer again. The bodice is fitted with multiple darts the petal sleeves are an unusual design feature. A spray of leaves, done in a light tan soutache spray over the right shoulder. The swingy skirt has five gores, four of them in back. A two tiered peplum accentuates the front waist, and wraps around into the
