1950s Pink & Purple Ribbonwork Veiled Hat Topper 19709s_Vintage_Set distinctiveThis is a really unusual hat design probably from the late 1940s to early 1950s and almost like a fascinator. It is made up of folded velvet ribbon in wide bands made into a circular hat topper. It is comprised of the most gorgeous coloured velvet pale lilac, a darker lilac and pink. There is a bow detail to the top and a prong set pink rhinestone button too. Most hat toppers of the day were designed for formal events and were particularly popular
