現代においても世界最高品質と称される1940年代から50年代のフレンチヴィンテージフレームをベースに、サイズ感などを現代風に微調整して展開するアイウェアブランド、guepardのGP-07。guepardではマテリアルに比較的お手頃にご愛用いただけるアセテート素材を使用しており、現代的に微調整したデザインと相まってヴィンテージフレームのエントリーに最適なプロジェクトとなっています。GP-07は滑らかな丸みのあるレンズデザインとなっており、かなり厚みのあるフレームワークが特徴的。フロントから見ると一見ベーシックに見えるデザインながら、フレーム全体に厚みをもたせることでフレンチヴィンテージらしいクラシックな印象をもたせた一本となっています。またフレームを太くしつつも各所を美しいカーブで立体的にシェイプさせ、フレームの太さによる窮屈を解消させた造形もこの型の魅力となっています。レンズはデモレンズではなく初期の状態からguepardが特別に製作したフラットレンズを装着。そのまま伊達メガネとしての使用が可能です。この特別なレンズは裏面にだけマルチコーティングを施し、レンズ表面は無垢状態のままにすることでコーティング技術が無い時代の雰囲気を再現した仕様となっています。
