Here the skirt has a band of horizontal stripes that lend the dress a super flattering silhouette

The size label is no longer present but we estimate a best fit for around a UK 12 or US 8

The dress could be worn with a petticoat underneath to give the skirt a fuller silhouette but it works very well without which is how we photographed it

1950s Double Strand Lotus Pearl Necklace with Silver Crystal Clasp mesh_top which cinches the silhouetteThis original 1950s Lotus pearl necklace consists of a double strand of delicate pinky cream high quality faux pearls made from glass. The pearls get bigger in diameter as they travel towards the front of the necklace. The string is hand knotted on silk in between each pearl to keep its placement. The necklace closes with a box clasp that is decorated with an ellipse shaped crystal surrounded by diamantes. The clasp is stamped with Silver and Lotus.
