1920s White Cotton Negligee with Peach Ribbon Detail 40s-jacket It has a classic 1950sThis pretty negligee whitework dress was crafted in the 1920s to 1930s and is probably a home made piece. Made carefully with attention to detail, it is tailored from white cotton with peekaboo broderie anglais around the neckline and up the wide sleeves, further detailed with flowers and a scallop hem. At the bust, the cotton is threaded with newly added peach grosgrain ribbon edged with loop stitches, this ties in a bow at the front of the negligee.
