1940s Side Drape Dress snakeskin I didn't see any other1940s pale gold rayon crepe dress. Bodice has a surplice neckline with shirring at the shoulders and radiating over the waist and hips from a curved side seam. A swag drapes over one hip and wraps around the back on one side. Skirt is a line and dress closes with a full length metal zipper at back. Long sleeves are padded at the shoulder. Dress is in structurally great shape but has dinginess faint smudging (from storage probably). This is seen mostly
