90’s Black Silk Taffeta Cocktail Evening Dress By Oscar de la Renta 1960's vintage dress Very fitted bodiceWonderful black taffeta party dress from Oscar de la Renta features numerous couture design elements: puffy, oversized sleeves pintucked in a harlequin pattern, horizontal pleats across the bodice, a dropped waist, and a two tiered skirt comprising densely gathered pleats. Based on label, we are estimating this to be a 1990s dress; there is also a Neiman Marcus label sewn into the skirt. The fabric is silk taffeta, which give the dress a lot of body.
