Produced in the 1980s from a crisp, lightweight yellow taffeta, the coat has a four button, double breasted front closure, wide notch lapels, and angled flap pockets at the waist. As was typical for Miyake outerwear during this period, the coat is cut with enormous volume, making it comfortable to wear and moving beautifully when it is in motion. Miyake is well known for his voluminous cocoon coats, but as in this
