There is full button placket down the front

High cut vamps are topped with bows

Dress slips over the head and there are two snaps at the waistline

1950s White Twill Shorts by Johnston Size:Small Bust: 32”1950s white cotton twill shorts. Legs have a side buckle tab which is mostly for looks but it does make the leg holes slightly adjustable. Can also be left undone for extra room if desired. Shorts close with a side metal zipper and button at the waistband. Overall very nice condition, some minor wear commensurate with age. I noted some very faint spots on the back, not really noticeable unless you're looking for them. See last photos for close ups.
