Silesian Suite Cut Steel Measures: 37A very unusual boxed suite of Silesian jewellery comprising a bracelet, brooch and earrings circa 1800 20. Silesian wire work was made in Gleiwitz, Silesia and is very light and airy, almost like lace work. It was produced at the same time as Berlin Iron work. Silesia became part of the German Empire on its proclamation in 1871. This suite has woven flowers and leaves, the bracelet with a lattice woven back. The bracelet hooks at the front. The
