However one titan still remains in the Pacific Northwest, or as I call it, the Fertile Crescent of down jackets. @crescentdownworks was started by Anne Michelson, who originally developed Eddie Bauers down testing laboratory in the late 1960s, and is still family owned and operated with Annes daughter Annie at the helm.
