Verso de Haut Batailley Pauillac - 2018 (750ml) Auxey-Duresses contemporary style of gin93 points Falstaff Dark ruby, purple reflections with delicate ochre rim. Nose underlaid with fine herbal savouriness, black forest berries and notes of smoky cassis, liquorice and wood. Taut and elegant, fine ripe fruit, black cherry, ripe tannins and long with delicate nougat on the finish. Already accessible and showing some maturity, but still has plenty of ageing potential.
