Georgian Mourning Ring Emerald The zircon is approximately 4A handsome Georgian mourning ring dated 1794. This ring is inscribed "Ja's Hodge obt 17 Oct 1794 ae 38" under the bezel. Ja's is shortened from James. This ring has a circle of white enamel outside a black enamel ground centred with natural half pearls with a good lustre and a central hair locket. There is a small bit of enamel damage on the white enamel but otherwise in excellent condition. Ring Size: O O1 2 The head of the ring measures 2cm in
