It was created in 2010 to honor Herbin's 340th anniversary, and is part of two lines 1670 to mark founding and 1798 for Paris based ink production. Jacques Herbin, a French sailor, founded J. Herbin in 1670. He used his voyage acquired knowledge to become a master wax maker, later venturing into ink and
