Suitable for a medium sized DSLR or similar, film or digital; you could probably get away with a small medium format camera, but dont get too cocky. Like most tabletop tripods of this style, the legs do extend to provide a bit more height, but also like most tabletop tripods of this style, the legs are spindly and unsteady and youre more likely to pinch yourself trying to push the legs back
