there is a 19th century label to the verso with the painting's details and an old gallery label too
by the celebrated Navajo silversmith Willie Yazzie
are in pursuit of the unseen wolf responsible for its demise
Antique Chinese Qing Canton Blue & White Export Porcelain Warming Dish 1800 Sold A fine antique oil paintingAntique underglaze Blue & white Chinese Qing Dynasty Export Porcelain, Hot Water Warming Dish, circa 1810. The rare octagonal form deep hot water warming dish is painted in underglaze blue with a scene of a river, with mountains in the background and in the foreground islands with building, a bridge and a pagoda. The dish having handles at each side, one handle is also a spout allowing hot water to fill the reservoir below, and keep food above warm.
