Georgian Foil Backed Garnet Bow Topped Pendant Chrysolite They were used to secureA beautiful example of a Georgian garnet pendant. With bright flat cut garnets arranged with a bow top and large oval drop. The garnets are foil backed, this was common practice in the Georgian Era to bring out the brightness in stones. This piece is set in silver, with a later added silver chain. Circa 1780 The pendant drop measures 5. 4cm long by 3. 6cm wide at the widest point
