Several birds were names after him by famous naturalists of the period including  Swainsons Warbler by John James Audubon

There is a repeating stamped motif running around the top edge on the inside

Gustavian Miniature Dresser plinth as does the bottom mouldingAn early 19th Century Gustavian painted apprentice childs dresser. It has been dry scraped back to its original surface. It comprises of two cupboard doors with reeded panels. When opened there are four shelves, with the original iron catch. The base has two short and two long drawers. Circa 1800.
