Saddler's Preservative protects new leather and restores used, neglected leather. Bee wax added makes Saddler's Preservative water resitsant. Saddler'sPerservative softerns leather more quickly and gives it a non damaging protective coat. It is better to use two light coats rather than one heavy coat.
