Antique French Animalier Bronze Marble Greyhound Sculpture Desk Paperweight Circa 1900 Drawings & Prints The back of the plateA very handsome antique French Animalier bronze greyhound sculpture, paperweight, circa 1900. The bronze in the style of Emmanuel Fremiet, made from solid cast bronze by the lost wax method (Cire Perdue) and depicting a recumbent greyhound with crossed legs, resting on a dark variegated marble plinth. The bronze having a rich patina, both the bronze and marble plinth are in very good condition.
