Otherwise, sow in the garden early in spring. Scarify the seeds (lightly notch the seed) or soak them in room temperature water for 24 hours before sowing. Maintain a soil temperature between 12 and 18C. Allow 10 to 20 days for germination. Tip: Pinch when 15cm high to encourage denser branching and more flowers. A trellis is necessary.
