Antique 18th Century French Provincial Régence Carved Walnut Commode Chest 1760 Drawings & Prints often whimsicalA very attractive 18th century antique French Provincial two drawer carved walnut commode from the Rgence period, circa 1760. The chest of Serpentine form and made from solid walnut is fitted with two deep drawers, the drawers open and close with ease and are clean and aroma free. The chest having a wavy serpentine shaped top, this outline is repeated with the two drawers, each drawer with relief panels and bronze handles and escutcheon lock plates.
