There are approximately 5 carats of diamonds in this piece in total. The centre stone measures 80 points and the diamonds are approximately I J colour, VS clarity. The back has evidence of a removable brooch pin as the screw holes are still evident so it may have been part of a tiara or large parure. Circa 1860 70.
