he decided to isolate this viticultural anomaly rather than blend it away

resulting in fruity aromas and hints of vanilla and oak on the pallet

then fermented and aged “sur lees” in stainless steel barrels

with a clean finish that doesn't overwhelm a drink's other components

Ron del Barrilito, 3 Star Rum, Puerto Rico, 750mL Chianti Casal de Ventozela is aA blend of rums with a claim of age between 6 and 10 years in American white oak & Sherry barrels. Medium body with a natural dark reddish color. Aromas of almonds, vanilla, raisins, and bananas with a strong woody backbone. Very smooth and fruity sweetness with a lingering smoky finish.
