The vessel with a deep blue glaze and having a band of incised Islamic calligraphy to the top, the baluster shaped body decorated with incised 'teardrop' motifs, the jug having a short spout and arched handle surmounted with a zoomorphic figure. The vessel having a raised unglazed foot. The ewer is in remarkable condition, totally intact, many of these vessels are
