Gorse - Casta Lace Journal Scottish Short History of Scottish Textiles:Casta Lace is our first custom milled base, created exclusively for us! Oh and let me tell you, she's a beauty. This yarn is 50% Falkland Merino, 25% Gotland, & 25% Corriedale. 3 fabulous sheep breeds each adding their unique characteristics to this wonder wool! Falkland Merino gives a beautiful soft handle to the yarn, while the Gotland adds a grey heathering and a slight halo from the crimpy fibres, and then Corriedale helps with squishability.
