Lovely Vintage Stratton Ballet Themed Powder Compact 1950s antique christening gifts We have included an ornateSuch a delightful 1950s Stratton powder compact which depicts a "reproduction in colour of Ballet Scenes photographed for Stratton by Baron". Baron was the Royal Court photographer to the British royal family. He took the official photographs for the wedding of HM Queen Elizabeth II to HRH Prince Philip in 1947. Baron was also famed for his photographs of ballet dancers. The lid decoration is without fading or losses and has maintained its vibrancy
