Set on post and butterfly fittings

inscribed to the outside “Mary Grier Lee ob 20 Nov 1815 ae 60” the interior with a makers mark “JT”

3 carats surrounded by old mine cut diamonds to an engraved triple shank

The 18ct gold mount is also shaped like an eye and set with natural pearls and would most likely have been used as a lace brooch
