The brooch is set in 18ct gold and stamped to the reverse with the makers mark. Child & Child was an English jewellery firm renowned for its Art Nouveau designs. Founded in 1880 on Seville Street in Knightsbridge, London, the firm initially produced neo Renaissance jewellery before gaining acclaim for its colourful enamel Art Nouveau and Edwardian
