A weird Georgian locket set with a wavey halo of flat cut garnets around a central round locket compartment
The band is 18 karat yellow gold
originally fitted with a Swiss-made music box (they mostly were Swiss) and made its way to France - in the wake of the Russian revolution - where it was eventually assayed and retailed
The flowers are finished in colourful enamel

It's set with white paste gemstones, crafted in silver throughout with an articulated drop hanging from the main body. Likely originating on the Iberian peninsula.
