which left him legally blind in one eye

Aspen Undercover art-code-A58S-08 Louise Yazzie WeaverI wanted the overall design to have symmetry with the the bunnies and then repeating the circles up and into the aspen leaves creating a sense of calm and a feeling of relaxation. I wanted the patina to have the look and feel of filtered light coming through the aspens, casting shadows on the hiding bunnies below. In Canada the leaves of aspen trees can turn bright red and gold during autumn. I wanted to capture that stunning moment with the gold leaf
