Victorian Pearl & Gold Lucky Pig Pendant malachite It's crafted in solid silverDATE: Victorian, c. 1870 So at some stage in the 19th century someone got their hands on this amorphous baroque pearl and thought: "that looks like a pig's body and legs". And went on to create a gold head and tail to complete the idea. Very bizarre, but here it is. It's crafted 18 karat gold and dates to c. 1870.
