Mid-Victorian Pique Drop Earrings peridot DATE: Intaglio: RomanDATE: Victorian, c. 1870 A fabulous pair of pique drop earrings, dating from the mid Victorian period circa 1870. The moulded tortoiseshell features two tone inlays: both gold and silver have been intricately set into the top and drops. They remain in great condition for the age. MEASUREMENTS Drop: 3. 6cm Width: 1. 2cm WEIGHT 5. 8g MARKS No marks present, tests as 9k gold CONDITION Very good, ear posts are likely later additions
