You will need to unsolder the encoder which sits on the rear of the motor from your old motor and re-solder on to this new unit

This is more compact than a large socket and will easily fit in your toolbox just incase you need it

The other problem with this panel is that if you want to remove your ladder for the winter then the panels break where the clips mount (as in the below video )
