Victorian 18k Gold Sea Lion Brooch souvenir Natural Opal - 6DATE: Victorian, c. 1900 One of the weirdest pieces of jewellery we've owned for a while an antique sea lion brooch in 18k gold with a black grey cat's eye chrysoberyl belly. It's beautifully made, with fine textured "fur" and whiskers, and a natural pose. Dating from the turn of the 20th Century, we'd never seen one quite like it.
