The stones are set in square settings (platinum): three transitional cut diamonds and two calibre cut sapphires

Although the crystal has been separated from its original instructions

Edwardian Sapphire & Diamond "Picture Frame" Ring case The manual wind mechanical movementDATE: Edwardian, c. 1910 A stunning antique "Picture Frame" ring, dating from the Edwardian period, circa 1910, and set with six gorgeous French cut sapphires within a diamond set border. Reminds me of a little window of some sort, and in typical Edwardian style, the head features platinum millegrain detail and subtly pinched shoulders. Modelled in 18k yellow gold and platinum.
