Georgian Portrait Miniature Double Locket horseshoe Operculum mounts: 1DATE: Georgian, c. 1780 An exceptional 18th Century double portrait locket depicting, presumably, a father and son. Sadly, the chances of finding out their names is virtually zero, however their likenesses remain clear nearly 250 years on. The locket is crafted in 15 karat gold, with convex glass front and back and a knife edge bail. MEASUREMENTS 3. 8 x 2. 6cm WEIGHT 6. 9g MARKS No marks present, tests as 15k gold CONDITION Very good
