Steiff The Junglebook Set Teddy Bears 2cm | Height 8The Jungle Book was the final animated film to be produced by Walt Disney himself, in 1967. Walt Disney sought to make his version of The Jungle Book a lot more upbeat than the Rudyard Kipling penned. The songwriters wanted a jazz sound, with a Dixieland like melody. When the idea for I Wanna Be Like You was first thought up they married this with the image of an ape who swings from a tree, and hes the king of the apes. And the famous scene was born.
