When American astronomer Asaph Hall discovered the two moons of Mars

and the larger is likely French based on the design (dated 27th of May 1834)

By 1875 he had opened his own jewellery shop located at 115 Piccadilly

This one, set with a central dreamy natural pearl, flanked by two old cut diamonds. It's crafted in platinum throughout and each side of the band features scroll detailing.
