Domaine Ilarria Irouléguy Rosé, 2025 dwayne johnson or a simple goat cheeseThis ros is made from mostly Tannat and Cabernet Franc, grown on schist soils, tucked up in the Pyrnes at the French Spanish border. It has an absolutely beautiful hue of deep pink ruby. Just like the white, this wine goes through malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tank. It is fuller bodied and textured than most ros, but will stand up to rich foods, even steaks on the grill, or rich alpine cheeses.
